10 Year Challenge

Dear young self, thank you for everything! I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the scary, risky, challenging and amazing decisions you took.

January and February were really famous for their #10yearchallenge. In which people from all over the world made a comparison of themselves to whom they were long back and who they are now.

Many people made fun of the filters people added to their pictures, even comparing themselves with someone else. But truly what we don’t see is that behind those pictures there’s a whole journey lived, years filled with ups and downs, challenges and achievements, tears and joy.

I really believe it was a retrospection of who we were ten years back and who we are today. Regardless of the age, nobody can’t take away what we’ve lived. Even though I didn’t publish any comparative picture on social media,  it encouraged me to take a look at myself in the mirror of a picture and to see how far I’ve come.

Ten years ago I gave my young self the chance to open my wings, to love again, to defy my fears, to have the courage to make decisions for myself, to always pursue what sets my soul on fire, at this moment my awakening journey just began, and I couldn’t be more thankful of every single soul who has walked in and out of my life. I’ve seen the miracles of love, how the true and deep desires of the heart materialize.

I was able to walk out of one of the darkest moments of my life, finding love in the little things I did. Filling my life with the light that only the power of love can bring, and most importantly coming to the life realization that within us we possess the greatest gift we can offer, that life is not about what you get, but what you give.

Long back I would’ve only dreamed of traveling the world and doing what I love. Here I am blessed and thankful to be able to serve others, to bring a spark of light of every soul I meet and work with. My days are filled with amazing adventures, and since the day I started to work on living on the now, the universe has brought countless blessings, love, and abundance into my life.

Like I always say, not even the sky is the limit and we came to this world to bring light, as we are stars that have people names.
