Through this journey I have discovered that there is no better thing than to wake up everyday and see it as a new adventure. Eager to learn, to discover, to love, to embrace every single moment of the day.
When we grow up we forget our most precious talents, we decide to follow a “path of success”, and despite how talented we might be, we prefer to earn different things and our most precious talents become hobbies instead of our way of living.
Success is not measured by the many degrees you get, or how much money or things you earn. Success is doing what you love, what makes your soul dance and smile. Success is bringing something to make this world better, it’s being creative in everything you do to make a positive impact in people’s lives. And as I said it before, not for what you get, but for what you give.
Education has been a gift to me, because I get a chance to share it with others. From all levels, my students have shaped my life completely into a better version of myself. They opened up my eyes to see the world through their eyes, with the same excitement and creativity. They have encouraged me and challenged me to defeat my own fears, and also to remind me that we are able to achieve anything we have ever dreamed of, and that everything done with love and dedication is worth every single second.
To my latest crew, you’ve rocked my world. Standing in front of a class or being part of a circle, thank you for letting me see the world through your eyes, to encourage me not to settle for any less. That everywhere I go, I should leave a positive mark, a little bit of love. That imagination can take me anywhere and if I was given this beautiful life and not even the sky is a limit, I should cherish every moment and every breath. And while I wander in this world… I can do what I love the most.
