Hello Everyone! So excited about sharing with you facts and recipes! Are you thinking veggies are boring? Noooo! Veggies are amazing!
Becoming a vegetarian has been a challenge, it has challenged me to be more creative in the way I cook (which I love). One of the biggest challenges is to keep a balanced diet.
People usually think “you need animal protein!”, actually have you ever wondered where do animals get their essential aminoacids?
Guess what? Vegetables! Is the primary and main source of essential aminoacids (molecules needed to make proteins in your body). So I decided to give you a little fact about this amazing veggie burger I made:
LENTILS
Lentils provide good to excellent amounts of seven important minerals, our B-vitamins, and protein—all with virtually no fat.

MUSHROOMS
They are a rich source of antioxidants, potassium, vitamin C and vitamin D. Vitamin D in mushrooms has also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by contributing to the regulation of the cell growth cycle. The folate in mushrooms plays an important role in DNA synthesis and repair, thus preventing the formation of cancer cells from mutations in the DNA.
